BDATech's AN/PRC-163 Side Connect Cable connects a L3Harris Technologies AN/PRC-163 to the APEx 4-Port Hub Systems, Assaulter 2-Port Hub System, or into any BDATech USB 3.2 Gen 1 peripheral receptacle. Before attaching the cable to the radio, either the RED or BLACK USB interface can be selected by the user with a sealed switch. The AN/PRC163 Side Connect Cable allows for POWER + DATA and can be used with the Radio Power Wedge [MA-0122-00] for additional power management.

- Select RED or BLACK USB via sealed switch prior to attaching to the radio to prevent unintentional interchange
- When connected to the Radio Power Wedge, the cable provides system power to the radio, and enables battery trickle charge.
- When integrated with APECon and the Radio Power Wedge, the Operator has the ability to control radio power on/off to that port.
- Operate the radio directly from the EUD using BDATech's KDU application [RED USB only]
