The USB Charge Cable uses a universal receptacle connector to connect both End User Devices (EUD) and Peripherals to a host laptop or computer for passing POWER + DATA. When used with an EUD, the USB Charge Cable allows EUD’s to be charged via a standard USB port and allows communication to a computer through a USB connector. The USB Charge Cable does NOT provide any host/select capabilities.
