ADVANCED POWER MANAGEMENT
The BDATech Next Gen Radio Power Wedge Interfaces with both Leader Radios, the Harris AN/PRC-163 and Thales AN/PRC-148C Improved Multiband Inter/Intra Team Radios (IMBITR) in addition to the Viasat AN/PRC 161 Handheld Link 16 while remaining back-wards compatible with legacy handheld radios, AN/PRC 148 and AN/PRC 152
SINGLE SOURCED POWER CONFIGURATIONS
When connected to a compatible BDATech Hub, The Next Gen Radio Power Wedge allows users to configure their system around a single power source. This type of single sourced power enables advanced power management options such as battery elimination, trickle charging and input of alternate power sources.
When connected to a single power source, the Next Gen Radio Power Wedge can also trickle charge connected radio batteries. This allows users the ability to charge and manage connected radio batteries on the go.
FEWER BATTERIES, MORE OPTIONS
With the ability to eliminate individual batteries and work from a common power source, the Next Gen Radio Power Wedge aids Operators in decreasing weight by carrying fewer batteries and battery types.
